Bear's First Sewing Machine - Montgomery Wards URR-266 or UHT J266B?
	The machine was purchased from the Montgomery Ward Catalog for $44 in 1975 with our wedding gift money. We actually got two of them! Wards shipped us one through Rio Grand Motorway Freight, and a second one through either the US Post Office or UPS. All we know, is that we got two of them, and then sent one back. Wards gave us a credit for $44 when they got the one back, and it took several phone calls to convince them that we owed the $44 to them. We finally got everything straightened out, and it sewed many things for the family for 15 years, until it was replaced with A JC Penney 7057 in 1990. This is the only photo that we have come up with of this machine.
Signature URR-266 or Signature UHT-266 ?	We are no longer in possession of this machine. We sold it in a yardsale in 1991 or 1992 to a neighbor lady 2 blocks east of us, for her daughters to learn to sew. We wish we could find it again, but will probably have to settle for just finding another machine of the same model. We don't have the serial number of the machine, since the manual went with the machine, and we didn't have it recorded anywhere else.

Replacement for Bear's 1st Sewing Machine - Montgomery Ward UHT J266B

This Montgomery Ward Signature machine is a replacement for Bear's first sewing machine that we let get away from us. I'm still not sure whether her first one was a URR-266 or a UHT J266, nor the difference between the two.

Grandma Maw's 1st Sewing Machine
This machine was given to CD's Grandmother, Letha May (Allen) Adams, for a wedding present in 1928. It was a used machine at that time. Then, it was given to daughter, Leona, sometime in the early 1960s, who passed it down to CD & his wife, Marlene, in the 1980s.
